THE GUM STORE

Austin and Maddi have been making a few extra bucks by selling gum. They sell it on the bus, at recess, and after school. There's Tic Tac's and breath drops too! I guess now a couple of kids have caught on and given them some competition. Recently, an announcement was made, that whoever was selling gum in school better stop, or they'll be suspended. Oops. They still sell it. (Just not during school, before and after.) I hope I'm not teaching them the dealing of illegal substances.

It's just a fun little entrepreneurial business. (My idea, not Greg's for those of you that thought he was the only business savvy person in the family.) For some reason we have been calling the "Gum Store". I think tomorrow we'll send some suckers and airheads too. We need to bump up sales.

SHOULD I BE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE SWINE FLU?

Z tends to be just a bit of a pig-alike. Seriously, from her breathing, her snorting, her eating, her pink skin, and her curly tail. We've really wondered if she has a little "Swine" in her.

She snorts and grunts like crazy when she eats. She crowds Vito out every time. "Hogs" it all. He's learned to just wait until she's through.

IF I ONLY HAD LAUREN'S ENERGY!

IF I COULD USE ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE LAUREN, IT WOULD BE ENERGY, SASSY, FUN, HELPFUL, LUNGS, SMART, CLEVER.. (O.K., SO IT'S MORE THAN 1 WORD, BUT SHE'S TOO COMPLEX TO USE JUST ONE. I JUST LOVE HER, AND WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING ABOUT HER. (MAYBE THE WHINING, AND FIGHTING, BUT THAT'S IT!) LITTLE CUTIE.

I REMEMBER BEING AT THE PARK TO WATCH FIREWORKS. I THINK SHE WAS 3, AND SHE WAS SO PUMPED UP THAT SHE RAN AROUND THE BLANKET AT TOP SPEED AT LEAST 100 TIMES. SHE JUST WOULDN'T STOP. I THINK SHE WOULD HAVE BURST IF SHE HAD TO HOLD STILL. REALLY, WHATEVER BATTERY SHE USES, I WANT.

IT'S FUNNY, CAUSE EVERYONE THINKS SHE'S SO QUIET AND SHY-UNTIL YOU GET TO KNOW HER. WHOA! SHE'S JUST THE OPPOSITE. SHE FAKES A LOT OF PEOPLE OUT.

SPRINGTIME IN AZ IS BEAUTIFUL

Can you believe how gorgeous this flower is on our cactus? This is my favorite thing about spring.

Lauren in her cute Easter dress is another springtime favorite.

These are all just the flowers in our front yard. When I go out there and just listen to the bees


humming, it makes me happy.

Maddi, on Easter is absolutely lovely.

Greg and I had fun giving the kids this little playhouse. They loved it.

Last night Maddi decided she was going to sleep in it. I couldn't believe it. Little miss determined slept through the whole night, all alone. Even the dogs slept inside.


It is safe to say that we are really enjoying the spring weather. It is a time of renewal and reflection on Christ. I love it!

So you probably think we're a bit nuts, but, Ty finds Austin's ipod and memorizes songs. We were in the van today and this song came on. I have never heard it, and he starts belting it out word for word. I sat there completely amazed, as usual. How do I not notice these things are taking place? I really need to pay closer attention~!!

April fools on Z; Catching up....

NOT!!!!!!He's a sweetie, really.

Poor little Z. I guess Ty couldn't find some paper, so he decided to color Z. It's up her legs, too.

And then there's nightime pass time "color your hand with red finger nail polish" after

putting Ty to bed. It looks like Batman had a fight....and LOST!

These are the cutest little travel buddies I could ask for. We had a blast flying to Utah. We got to see Grandmas, Grandpas, and all the gangs. Thanks for hangin' out with me!

I know this is random, but how often do you see a 90+ yr. old(both of them!) actually WALKING through the mall while holding hands? It was adorable, and I had to snap a picture.
