Unlike Jen, if you look on the Yancey blog, we don't take them to fire stations to teach them about fire safety. We just have them touch it, and give dynamite to young children.

A LESSON IN FIRE SAFETY
How long can you touch fire and not get burned? Greg decided to have the kids put their fingers in the flames to find out.

Austin even had a chance to go and gave it up so Maddi could go. How nice is that? She had so much fun! She made this cute sign. At the concert, she looked over and saw her Aunt Marci and her boys on the same row! One of her favorite parts was when some kids got up and played guitar hero on expert with the guitars behind their backs and kneeling down. Amazing!

MISTAKEN IDENTITY....
This is a snapshot taken at Justin's wedding just a couple of years ago. It's amazing that even in this short time, we can all change so much.
This is a picture of my family, taken about 25 years ago.
It's funny 'cause my 3 yr. old, Ty, was looking at it, and my mom asked if he knew where I was in it. He responded, "my mom's not in that, but Maddi is."

I am just a few months old here. Who knew I was going to grow up to be nuts. Aren't we all, just a little bit?
This is my baby sister Kristin, with her husband Aaron, and her daughter, Anna. She has another little girl on the way.
This is my sweet brother Jared, and his wife Lisa.
My older sister Mindy, with husband Kevin, and son Campbell.

My bro. Daren, with wife Jen. They have 2 kids (so far), Hendrix James, and Lilly.
My older brother Bryan, and new bride Margo. I am so happy for them. They just got married last month.
All of the grand kids had a sleepover, even though it was late. The only 2 missing are Hendrix and Anna.
See what you guys started? And you still look fabulous! I love you all.

What I wake up to most mornings....
Madeline is the only one that usually stays in her bed all night. This particular night Greg was out of town. Usually he's tangled up in the mix. I took this picture at 4am. I was standing on the end of the bed, and almost lost my balance and fell.

BBQ at the Hunts
Last weekend we got to go to Grandma and Grandpa Hunt's house for a swim/BBQ/cousin camp. The kids and adults have so much fun 'cause we just chill and talk while the kids have a great time running around together. It was perfect weather, not too hot, and great company.

RUNNER'S HIGH...
One night Austin decided to start running in circles around the couch because he was bored. He started counting, and pretty soon, he felt that
"runner's high", anyone who works out will know what I mean. He didn't want to stop!

THE DENTIST...
Yesterday I took the kids to the dentist we do trade with. He has always been our dentist, and we love his office and entire staff. It is worth the drive from Park City to American Fork for their great services.
In this picture the kids are amazed as they watch Austin get a panoramic picture taken of his teeth.
The Pitts' crew were absolutely amazed. I've got 4 kids, 0 cavities. Yes! Ty did have one 2 yr. molar with no enamel on it. We need to go get that fixed. Good thing I took him in!
