Swimming, swimming, swimming
It has been 100+ degrees all summer. We are lucky to have a pool to cool off.
The kids enjoy swimming and hanging out with their friends.

Lagoon
I am trying to get caught up on posting all of my pictures from the summer. I am a little behind. We went to Lagoon with some of our AZ friends when they came and visited. All of the kids waiting in line for the Mouse Trap.
Ty loved all of the rides but didn't want to go by himself. Lauren was a good sport to let him ride with her on all of them.

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!
When Austin was born, he was my absolute pride and joy. Everything else paled in comparison to my "special angel".
We had a special birthday party in Hawaii for him. He thought he had to babysit, and we (Greg and I) and the Preventive clan and their kids showed up in the Hotel room with a cake and presents.

SOME SPECIAL GRANNIES
Greg's great grandma Hunt celebrated her 100th birthday this summer. She still has all her wits about her. She's such a cute granny.
My Grandma Campbell is such a neat lady. She's always been so independent. Recently, because of her gradual blindness, she moved into an assisted living center. I felt bad to see her this way, but it's something she really needed. I hope it makes her happy.

THE 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL/LAUREN'S 1ST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN
Today was Lauren's 1st day of kindergarten. She was excited and a little nervous. She will be there for a full day! That's a big difference from 2 hrs. a day,3 days a week in preschool!
Maddi was so nervous about her. She was worried about her getting on the bus after school. I guess for good reason because her teacher forgot to put her on, and Maddi and Austin had to come search for her. They were stressed!
Austin and Maddi are so great. He even let me snap this shot at school. Just keep my distance, and I'll be O.K.
