His Ninja instructors are proud of him too. They always challenge the students with new goals like treating their parents with respect, and so many other great things. hiy yah!
Austin also recently won his third consecutive pine wood derby race by a landslide.
This is his good friend Gracin.
The car in the center is his. Not only is it the fastest, but also the best looking. What a paint job!
It's name was The Louge.
Thanks to Grandpa Campbell who made it all possible. The pressure was on when Greg told him he had to fly to Arizona with the fastest pine wood derby car in the universe. Needless to say he didn't disappoint. Austin did put the stickers on though. Perhaps that gave the car that extra umph.
The next week Mom (grandma Campbell) and my two sisters (Mindy and Kristin) made the trip to AZ with their sweet kids Campbell and Anna. The Phoenix zoo helped to show them a good time.
But a hot day at the zoo is much better when you can cool off in the water fountains. ahhhhh
I don't think I've ever seen Lauren have so much fun. Isn't she a cutie?
Anna was so brave. She didn't want to be left out of the fun. She thought she was as big as the other kids, and got wet right along with them.
And last, but certainly not least, the chicks are doing fine. They are the most pampered and loved chickens around. I think this picture says it all. I even caught all of the kids one morning in bed cuddling with their chickens and singing them a lullaby. I was so mad, but couldn't help but laugh. It was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. Of course it was Maddi's idea.
Ty is known as the "Lady Killer" at church. With this face and a suit and tie I think we can all see why. little stinker. We sure love those kids.
