LAUREN TURNS 7.
On Dec. 10, Lauren turned 7 years old! We decided to take a little family trip to Las Vegas, both to celebrate her birthday, and to go to the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds concert. We had 2 free nights to stay at the Belagio Hotel, so we thought what the heck. It turned out to be really fun. The kids think it's so fun to stay at a hotel. It doesn't happen too often. They really enjoyed it. LV isn't my first choice for a family vacation, but for a quick stay, you can make it work. I took Lauren and Maddi shopping for a new outfit for Lauren's birthday. (It's what she told me she wanted. ) Then, we went to Game Stop, a huge arcade/ games place where we had a little family party for her. What really made it special was to have Grandma and Grandpa Hunt come and celebrate with us!!! They stayed at the hotel, and played with the kids, and babysat (thank you), while Greg and I went to the concert. (Which was AWESOME). I was so happy to have all my kids there with us on this trip. They are truly the greatest kids ever. Thanks Grammy and Grandpa for truly making it extra

Happy birthday Lauren! You are the cutest girl ever! Vegas looks like a fun place to take the kids. I love the picture by the tree. You should use it for a Christmas card picture.

Lauren is such a cutie! And what a fun birthday celebration, lucky girl. And I agree, that photo should be used for your Christmas card! I'll watch for mine in the mail. ;)
