ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIKE
Our family is so fortunate to be living in these awesome mountains in the summers. The views here are truly breathtaking.
The Flints invited us to hike some trails for family home evening. They live in the heart of the mountains. Last year they had a moose that made their front yard her home. We love this couple. We already feel a bond with them. The people we have met up here are really great.
The crisp mountain air and views are humbling. Such creation is too great to explain away. The ocean and mountains will quiet anyone and make them truly feel the spirit.(whether they know it or not.)
There was so much snow this past winter, that forest is lush and green. Plenty of wildlife. In Park City most everyone is active. From mountain biking to river rafting to skiing and snow shoeing. It would be a shame to not take advantage of these great outdoors.
This is a view of our condo and some other homes around where we live. Redstone is such a happening place around here. A lot to do and see. I'm thinking about having this picture blown up and put on our wall here for everyone to see. The winter renters can see how beautiful it is in the summer.
O.K., so I told her to smell the flowers, but really she was before I told her to. Every color of wild flower you can imagine was on this trail.
Austin and Madeline were too cool to stay with us. They were always a lap ahead. We were just hoping there was no stinging netal.(which there was, they just happened to miss it.)
Ty decided to make himself comfy in the middle of the trail. Maybe we have a future camper on our hands. A little dirt never hurt anyone.
Ty is looking at some kind of caterpillar nest. Tons of them come out and eat the surrounding trees.

COUSTIN CAMP PART II
What a great time we had a cousin camp this week. Thanks Marci for planning it! These kids will really love looking back on such good times together this summer. (I really enjoyed it too. )
We went to the park, which had fun water features. It was crowded, people crunched under every available tree. When we arrived, a group under the pavilion just left, and we claimed it. What luck! Austin and Tanner could care less. They are just happy to be together.
Campbell, from the Campbell side and Mindy even joined on in. He fit in great.
Of course Larzy is Hangin' with the adults. She loves her Grammy. Quite a pair!
And then there's the "Cooler Guard", or in other words, Ty. He didn't leave it the entire time.
Every time you look at him, He's eating an otter pop.
Marci is so awesome. She made these cousin camp shirts that they all got to put their names on and decorate. They were so proud to be part of cousin camp 2008.
Collin is like the dream cousin for Ty. He's older, and actually wants to play with him. Ty really loves him.
Just a little dizzy, but totally worth it.
It's funny 'cause Maddi told my mom she wanted to marry someone with long hair. She thinks it looks cool. (like Collin's.) It's the hip style right now. Austin really wants long hair, but it doesn't do that cute flip thing over the ears. Just give up Aus, you look so cute with a shorter hair cut. Short hair never goes out of style.
