TY'S 3RD BIRTHDAY JUNE 27TH, 2008

The day after Bryan and Margo's wedding, we had a birthday bash for Ty at our favorite park in Park City. Both sides of the family were on the guest list. Ty is at such a great age. My mom was a good sport to be there after a stressful, but successful and fun wedding reception in their backyard.

Collin and Campbell join Maddi as she 'strikes a pose'.

Caleb has such a cute smile.

So does Lauren.

Even Great Grandpa Turner joined in for the party. Looks here like he's the life of it.

PRESENT TIME! Ty really wanted his space when opening them. If the crowd got too close, he would move away.

He got some great stuff to play with at the P.C. condo. He was very excited.

He was really excited, (and so was I), when we found out that grandpa Hunt made him this marble run. He love the one at Heritage Park, and grandpa was clever enough to build him one. As you can see, he loves it.
THE WATER FIGHT.(Ty's armed with a sucker)

It's a good thing that Keaton is on their team.

BASKETBALL WITH GRANDPA CAMPBELL AND UNCLE KEVIN.

Whoa!
Nice shot Ty!

THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!

It was too windy for candles, so Ty-the little actor pretends to blow out candles.

THE PINATA.

Way to go Collin.

Wait a sec. Everyone, find Keaton. He's missing. Someone said he might be behind this little bathroom.

Keaton! "What? I didn't do anything wrong."

FRISBEE WITH GRANDPA HUNT

THANKS EVERYONE FOR MAKING THIS PARTY A HIT.
I thought Jenny would appreciate this ending better then Marci's.(actually The Mormon crack was the greatest.)

A SHOUT OUT TO MY BEST BUDDY EVER!

This is my beautiful friend, Tiffani Swensen. Samuel is her new miracle baby. He is so adorable.

Tiff and I have been friends since high school. She has always been so supportive and understanding. We will always be friends. She married a great guy, and has 2 perfect kids. She is someone I can always count on, even when I'm not the greatest friend.
I love ya Tiff!

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIKE

Our family is so fortunate to be living in these awesome mountains in the summers. The views here are truly breathtaking.

The Flints invited us to hike some trails for family home evening. They live in the heart of the mountains. Last year they had a moose that made their front yard her home. We love this couple. We already feel a bond with them. The people we have met up here are really great.

The crisp mountain air and views are humbling. Such creation is too great to explain away. The ocean and mountains will quiet anyone and make them truly feel the spirit.(whether they know it or not.)

There was so much snow this past winter, that forest is lush and green. Plenty of wildlife. In Park City most everyone is active. From mountain biking to river rafting to skiing and snow shoeing. It would be a shame to not take advantage of these great outdoors.

This is a view of our condo and some other homes around where we live. Redstone is such a happening place around here. A lot to do and see. I'm thinking about having this picture blown up and put on our wall here for everyone to see. The winter renters can see how beautiful it is in the summer.

Ty and Cosmo(the dog) pose in the wildflowers. The coolest, kindest dogs live up here.

O.K., so I told her to smell the flowers, but really she was before I told her to. Every color of wild flower you can imagine was on this trail.

Austin and Madeline were too cool to stay with us. They were always a lap ahead. We were just hoping there was no stinging netal.(which there was, they just happened to miss it.)

Did I already say breathtaking?

"Mom, enough pictures already."

The kids were in doggy heaven.
Cosmo is the golden retriever, and Molly is the beautiful lab.

Ty decided to make himself comfy in the middle of the trail. Maybe we have a future camper on our hands. A little dirt never hurt anyone.

Ty is looking at some kind of caterpillar nest. Tons of them come out and eat the surrounding trees.

I don't mind when one of my kids wants to just be with their mom. It's an honor and a privilege.

When we returned, Maddi's eyes got sooo swollen. She swears it was something other then the the dogs. She is too much of an animal lover to ever allow that to be a possibility.

We got home, and instead of making Ty just take a full on bath, I just told him to wash his feet.(notice the color of the water. I left and after much splashing I was forced to check out the damage. No damage here, just a kid wanting to get clean.
